May 12 – Tide Pool Wonders at the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

This is the last chance of the season to export the low tides at the rocky shore with Cabrillo Marine Aquarium on Saturday, May 12, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Bring family and friends to the aquariums John M. Olguin Auditorium for an informative slide show, followed by a walk led by Cabrillo Marine Aquarium Education Staff to the nearby Point Fermin tidepools.

Fire Stations in the City of Los Angeles will be expecting your visit. To increase awareness of Fire Department services and extend our appreciation to the community, the Los Angeles Fire Department formally designates the second Saturday of May as Fire Service Recognition Day. This year, we highlight: “Serving our Communities: Prepare, Respond, Recover” Along with personal tours of a Fire Station near you, the LAFD is hosting simultaneous demonstrations and enhanced displays.
