The L.A. City Section All-Star team finished Saturday night’s baseball All-Star Game the same way it started it; with some small ball and a little help from the opposition. Crenshaw’s LeJon Baker scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch in extra innings to boost the City Section to a 4-3 victory in nine innings over the Southern Section in the fourth annual City Section vs.

Normally senior all-star softball games are more about having fun and making friends, about enjoying a lighter atmosphere where the pressure of the regular season isn’t quite so heavy. Apparently someone forgot to tell San Pedro’s Kailee Cuico and South Torrance’s Jessica Cherness.
