May 3 to June 23, 2012 with artwork by Donna Barlow, Annemarie Rawlinson, Uran Snyder, Gail Werner and Pat Woolley Over the past fifteen years labyrinths have enjoyed a dramatic revival as a meditation, relaxation and spiritual tool. This revival now encompasses religious communities of all faith, as well as hospitals and health care facilities, spas and retreat centers, schools and universities, public parks, memorials and healing gardens, prisons and even progressive businesses. Labyrinths have been built in such varied settings as Battery Park in New York City, Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore and a downtown square in Zurich, Switzerland.

Free parking tags added to San Pedro parking meters
Tags letting people know that parking is free through the holidays were being put on meters throughout downtown San Pedro on Friday, courtesy of the Business improvement District, the San Pedro Chamber of Commerce and the 15th District Council office.
