This revival now encompasses religious communities of all faith, as well as hospitals and health care facilities, spas and retreat centers, schools and universities, public parks, memorials and healing gardens, prisons and even progressive businesses. Labyrinths have been built in such varied settings as Battery Park in New York City, Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore and a downtown square in Zurich, Switzerland.

San Pedro community leaders approve spending for USS Iowa events

Gearing up for what is expected to be a busy tourism summer in San Pedro, community leaders on Wednesday approved spending up to $10,000 on events celebrating the arrival of the USS Iowa and the installation of decorative lights in the downtown.
